Your job search should start by identifying companies you would like to work for. I want you to feel you have control over this process and targeting companies allows you to be more proactive in your job search. By proactive, I mean networking with people who work inside companies you have identified, learning about the culture and work at these companies and of course, searching their career pages. But if they dont have any jobs posted at this time, dont give up. They will.
